For older Taiwanese people, there are traditional ways to pass your time like tai chi or street calligraphy, but this group of sharp-shooting old men spends their time spinning tops like nobody's business.
A video posted on YouTube by Kuma Films documents the Sanxia Pinpoint Top Team and their amazing skills, throwing tops and landing them on people's hands, discs no wider than soda bottles and even on top of poles. Maybe there's even an opportunity here to collaborate with these political pole-dancers.
Some members of this troop have been practicing every weekend for over twenty years. "Yes, if we're not out doing performances somewhere else, we are here practicing and performing," one member says. Though these guys have supernatural abilities, they remain humble saying, "It's just a hobby."
